TANAH LOT
This is another attraction not to be missed.....Tanah Lot....situated "in the sea". Thank God it was low tide so we could get to see the PURA (temple). The uniqueness of this place is that despite the fact that it is surrounded by sea water, in side the cave like temple there is spurts of spring water. Mummy literally made Daddy went in to check out the "holy water". Mummy was asked by the priest to wash the face and sip the holy water. The cringe on mummy face is not due to the holy water but next to her was a scorpion - life and moving.
Mummy spring into shopping action but got herself (as per normal) into trouble...she bought a Vase made of limestone which needed to be cargoed back. She thought she did her homework about bringing bulky things home. Everyone that she asked assured her that cargo is the way to go.....so when she fell in love with the knee high vase she did not waste any time and added it to her shopping bag......Guess what, mummy did not know that the cost of the cargo was OH MY GOD! kind of price range. She and daddy first had to scout around for a cargo company and when she found them...she also found out that they dont just charge according to no. of items or its weight but by the cubic box and the smallest cubic box was going to cost them from USD 340 - to - USD200 plus and this is only to singapore port. Once it reaches Singapore, its gonna cost them some more.. So the next 1 and half day, they went lookin for the cargo company and finally settle for the usd 200. Now that the luggage bag is empty she decided to make it worthwhile and got some more light weight stuff. Most of them are delicate so she packs them into the hand carry luggage bag. At the airport her hand carried luggage bag was not allowed in coz the fella thinks it looks big! So in the bag goes and when it reaches Singapore, the lock was picked and mummy favourite item was gone!

Happy Birthday Mummy!!!
Mummy surprised by the present...apart from the official gift "the holiday". The trip was supposed to be to Hong Kong Disneyland but at the very last moment the news about the HFMD and bird flu or something that splashed across the newspaper coz everyone in the family alarmed. The last thing we wanted was anxiety during holiday so we decided to abandon Mickey Mouse and set for sand, sea and bikinis

This year's Fathers' Day is done very simply but I think the gals had fun. We went to a fish farm to get a fish spa for the family. Too bad Ummi is working and Ayie is babysiting the baygok. I was sceptical as how the fish spa was going to look like but hoped for the best. Well its not quite your 5* spa, no ginseng tea served, no piped music except trysha's cries but hey we had fun...just like what Daddy like ...something fuss free and cheap!
